Have you ever been sucked into thinking that a Disney "prince"/character was hot? I mean seriously? They are fictitious characters! I admit that when I was little, I was obsessed with Aladdin... okay, I was MORE than a little obsessed. I may have taken to sketching him in my sketchbook... (don't judge). But it is okay when you're a child to do that sort of thing.
Even now, however, as a mom in my 30's, I still get sucked into Disney's mind games, and now I think that Flynn Rider from Tangled and both guys from Frozen are attractive. What's wrong with me? I mean, it's not just me... Mark seems to have the same issue with some of Disney's leading ladies too so I know I haven't gone completely mad... and he's five years older than I am (but I'm not saying that he's any more mature than I am, mind you).
Honestly, how can one be attracted to a cartoon? It's the mind games, people. I read an article that said how they developed the look of Flynn Rider by having women bring in photos of very attractive men and picking them apart so they could come up with the perfect-looking man. Well, there it is right there... not only are the Disney men attractive, they have the perfect personalities, and they sing in dreamy smooth voices! It's a deadly combination - a triple threat that no female could possibly be immune to.
Do I feel stupid for admitting attraction to a cartoon? Uh, yeah! But come on, we all do it... and I didn't realize it was possible at my age until I started to be subjected to the same Disney movies over and over, and over and over.... again and again! Sometimes I just want to slap myself for this silly school-girl-type crushing. And hey, maybe it's part of Disney's master plan to get parents to get addicted to watching their movies as well. On the bright side, it is a safe bet (for my husband) that I'm not ever going to be able to cheat on him with a cartoon... so it's all good... crush away, my friends!
