Finally, I am into the single digits for post-second-pregnancy weight loss!!!! Happy dance! There are a few (3) maternity shirts still hanging around like acquaintance-type friends that you can't get to leave your house after a party. I wear those ugly things around the house so that they can get spit-up on... I will burn them one day in a raging fire.
Anyway, I have taken a hiatus from T25 to run 3 - 3.5 miles every morning that it isn't raining or that the kids aren't raising hell and will allow me to leave for 30 minutes. Nothing can compare to running for exercise and weight loss... nothing. Good thing I like running, and doing so outdoors gives you extra motivation for two reasons:
I am hoping to be able to run off the last 8 pounds before the weather turns unfavorable to outdoor exercise, at which point, I will return to the elliptical or T25 to maintain my weight. Shopping in my own closet has become a new hobby because I can now fit back into many of my pre-pregnancy shirts that I bought shortly before becoming pregnant, and frankly, I had forgotten what cute things I already owned (you're welcome husband - I'm not out spending money on new clothes... yet.)
Posting my weight loss online is also a great motivator to keep me going because I have to stay accountable to my readers, and I hope to be an inspiration to you if you are trying to lose weight or get in shape as well!
