It's fall, and that means it's time for everything pumpkin. I love the smell of bread baking in the oven on a cool, overcast fall day with the annoying buzz of a football game in the background. This recipe for Pumpkin Bread is from the latest issue (October/November 2014) of allrecipes Magazine.
When the loaves came out of the oven, I had multiple bodies hovering near me in order to get a taste of my new recipe. Let's just say that it's like eating a slice of autumn, and there were NO complaints. If I weren't trying to lose the last several baby weight pounds, I would have consumed the entire loaf myself.
Try it, it's easy, and you'll love it.
* Note: If you use 2 9 x 5" pans, you bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes
I kid you not, you will not be disappointed in this recipe... unless you're not a lover of pumpkin-flavored bread. Enjoy!
