As the mother of two growing boys, I am always looking for great deals on high quality meat (the very thought of their teenage years scares me out of my mind!).
I saw a story on the news about Zaycon Foods and how you can purchase fresh meat straight from the farm by the case for amazing prices. Sure, the catch is that you have to drive to a local church parking lot to pick it up on a certain day within a certain time frame, but it's worth it.
I have since purchased 40 pounds of ground beef and 80 pounds of boneless, skinless, chicken breasts. Yes, I have an extra freezer or these sort of purchases wouldn't be possible, but with the price of quality chicken and beef being so high and the fact that we go through it like water, I couldn't pass it up.
Grocery Store 93/7 Beef Price: $5.50
Zaycon Price: 40 pounds of 93/7 lean ground beef = $3.99/pound
Grocery Store Chicken Price (Golden plump extra tender): $6.99/pound
Zaycon Price: 40 pounds of fresh boneless, skinless chicken breasts = $1.49/pound (discounted from beef purchase)
Zaycon Price: 40 pounds of fresh boneless, skinless chicken breasts = $1.89/pound
If you need to feed a family, I highly recommend trying Zaycon. Click on THIS LINK (it's my referral link) to sign up and order, or go to www.zayconfoods.com and use my referral name: The Most Unlikely Mother. Let them eat MEAT!!!
