Our cat of 10 years recently had issues with her very expensive Purina vet-prescribed food that she had been eating for man years. All of a sudden, she started throwing up daily, and we couldn't understand why.
Well, I started thinking that maybe she, as many of us do as we age, started developing a sensitive stomach. Seeing the convincing commercials for Blue Buffalo pet foods, we decided to try the sensitive stomach adult version of their cat food.
What happened? Puking went down to a normal frequency (for a cat), and she actually seemed to have more energy (as much energy as a 10-year-old house cat who sleeps all day could have). Problem solved!
Another strange thing I noticed was that with the prescription Purina food that we stored in a large plastic container, when we got to the end of the food, there was always a lot of food dust in the bottom that mixed with the food and was annoying. With Blue Buffalo, there doesn't seem to be that gross oily pet food dust, making me feel like the ingredients are of a better quality.
Not all marketing can or should be taken at its word, but I really think that Blue Buffalo is touting a great product that is as great as they say it is. If your pet is having digestive issues, try Blue Buffalo, and let me know if it helped!
