![]() How could a movie with John C. Reilly, Sarah Silverman, and Jane Lynch NOT be funny? The great thing is that Wreck-It Ralph is an animated kids' movie so you can enjoy it with the whole family. If you don't have kids, it's still a must see! Sarah Silverman's crass and sarcastic sense of humor has been appropriately toned down for kids, but it makes me laugh (and we all know I'm very sarcastic). Even after having watched it at least 5 times (hey, it's recorded on the DVR and is easy to access when meltdowns are happening in the house), I still find myself amused and chuckling at the humor (that is clearly put in for parents). The bright colors and constant movement keeps my little high-energy monster's eyes glued to the TV (unlike with some movies like The Incredibles which moves way too slowly for the first half and loses his attention). The only (and I mean ONLY) downside to this movie is that most of it takes place in "Sugar Crush" (a fictitious candy-filled racing video game), and seeing all of that sugar makes me crave it the whole time I see it... and that's a killer on my will power. So sit down and enjoy this movie with your family, and make sure to have plenty of candy on hand! -------- Image credit: Real Mom Reviews blog (http://www.realmomreviews.net/2013/03/wreck-it-ralph/) Don’t miss anything: like my Facebook fan page, and get new entries posted straight to your news feed!
