I'm sorry my friends, but if you have a "fish tale" with no photographic evidence (yes, in-laws, this post applies to you), the fish tale is just that ... a tale. In today's world of camera phones, getting a quick photo of that "trophy fish" should not be that difficult. I take no prisoners on this issue (and the reason is not that I'm a stereotypical Asian with a camera in-hand at all times), especially when I'm starving for some fishing action as my St. Croix rod sits angrily in the corner, and my XL tackle box gains an extra layer of dust in my office.
I have, however, planned a trip north to fish for a week in August so I won't be in a drought all summer, but until then, I will have to live vicariously through other people's fish tales and brag photos, and I will relish in the fishing dreams that I will inevitably have in the absence of actual real-life fishing...
Take the 5 seconds to take photos, my friends. You will not regret it.
